Rangers Ugo Ehiogu

Scoring an overhead kick in an Old Firm game, away from home. Lying on my back watching a despairing goalkeepers hand tipping it into the net and then hearing and seeing the supporters go wild with delight. One of the best moments in my life. Never to be forgotten.

Ugo spent 9 years at Aston Villa where he was part of the team that won the League Cup in 1996. He signed for Middlesbrough in 2000 for a then club record fee of £8 million, he then signed for Rangers in 2007. Ugo won four caps for England and scored in a 3-0 friendly win over Spain at Villa Park.

Ehiogu's goal in the 1-0 win against Celtic was voted Rangers' Goal of the Season at an award ceremony as voted for by the club's fans.
